Torinians
The different species and sub-species of sentient beings in Felarya. From giants to tinies, and preys to predators. From the ingenious Humans, to the reclusive Majuras, the noble Sphinxes, the mysterious Nemesises, the peaceful Gerridis or the fierce Crimson Maidens.
A strong willed people living in relative harmony with an array of Harpies in the sky high city of Torin. The Torinians are a very militaristic lot and place great emphasis on the strength, courage, integrity, and intelligence of their people, priding themselves on being able to produce exceptional warriors. Due to the strange nature of Iracal Island and its "White Storms," it's widely believed that the Torinians are no longer totally humans anymore. The most common mutations are slightly avian eyes, a lighter bone structure, and plumage (more specifically down feathers and filoplumes) mixed in with their hair. As a result, their body hair appears thicker in comparison to that of other humans. The Torinians have also developed innate magic, or a store of raw magical energy inside their bodies that they have learned to manifest in a number of ways but primarily put to use through weapons.
They are very used to live with harpies and newer generations of Torinians use harpy dialect perfectly, being able to sustain colorful exchange with the great predators. This can leads to misunderstanding when communicating with other humans, sometimes failing to realize when someone is mocking or insulting them!
